Actor Reese Witherspoon is planning to integrate NFTs into movies and TV shows by partnering with World of Women (WoW), the NFT collective, for the adaptations of non-fungible tokens.
The New Orleans-born woman known for adapting bestsellers into successful TV series and films is ready to venture her career many steps further. Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine will partner with the World of Women (WoW) for the NFTs project.
Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine was co-founded in 2016, with a goal of developing more female-fronted stories in film, and television.
The NFT adaptation is born of Reese’s view of the blockchain space which men dominate. In an interview, she explained that women are also dominating in the crypto space. Although she started the dominance of men in both the crypto and NFT industries, Reese Witherspoon added that “there are inspiring leaders like World of Women creating incredible communities for women during his massive shift for media and technology.”
