Abu Dhabi has approved a new housing benefits package worth AED 6.75 billion ($1.8 billion) to support 4,356 Emirati citizens. This initiative comes under the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and was approved by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. Notably, this package aims to enhance social stability and improve living standards across the emirate.
Breakdown of the Housing Benefits
The latest housing package consists of several key elements:
- Housing loans totaling AED 5.08 billion ($1.4 billion) for 3,172 citizens.
- Land grants and ready-built homes worth AED 1.585 billion ($432 million) for 1,100 citizens.
- Loan repayment exemptions exceeding AED 94.8 million ($25.8 million) for 84 senior citizens, limited-income retirees, and families of deceased beneficiaries.
With this addition, the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority has now provided over 123,000 housing benefits, amounting to AED 168.85 billion ($46 billion) since its establishment.

Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, expressed deep gratitude for the leadership’s ongoing dedication. He highlighted that these efforts directly contribute to the happiness and stability of Emirati families.
Similarly, Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director-General of ADHA, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the “Year of Community” goals. He also noted that providing secure housing is fundamental to building a stable and prosperous society.
