Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has partnered with Dubai Police to expand its cutting-edge drone network, enhancing security and situational awareness in one of Dubai’s key business hubs.
DMCC and Dubai Police will deploy the advanced Drone Box system across Uptown Dubai and Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) communities, using it for the first time to monitor high-rise buildings.
This collaboration reflects Dubai Police’s focus on integrating smart technology to improve urban safety, significantly boosting emergency response and remote monitoring capabilities for high-rise environments.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, highlighted, “The Drone Box system is one of the most advanced globally, enhancing public safety in Dubai. Its use in DMCC’s communities demonstrates our commitment to smart, secure urban living.”
Captain Mohammed Omar Almuhairi, head of the Unmanned Aerial Systems Centre (UASC), added, “The Drone Box system has reduced emergency response times and provides crucial data for decision-making. Together with DMCC, we aim to further enhance public safety in one of the world’s fastest-growing business hubs.”
