Peec Mobility, a UAE-based firm specializing in converting gasoline vehicles into electric ones, has committed $12 million to expand its operations, anticipating increased demand for sustainable transport.
Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE’s Minister of Economy, met with Peec officials to discuss their contributions to the UAE’s Circular Economy Policy 2031. He emphasized sustainable transport’s critical role in reducing carbon emissions, highlighting the UAE’s aim to have 50% electric and hybrid vehicles on roads by 2050.
Peec’s CEO, Ahmed Zachariah Faizal, shared the company’s vision:
“We want to represent the power and value of circularity in a modern society…repurposing vehicles to spark global transformation.”
The meeting also showcased Peec’s affordable EV offerings for individuals and businesses, alongside technologies for extending the life of gasoline-powered cars through electrification.
