GITEX GLOBAL 2024, marking its 44th edition, will be held from 14th to 18th October at Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour. The event will span 44 halls, featuring major tech companies and start-ups in sectors like AI, cybersecurity, and sustainability. As a crucial event in the tech calendar, it will attract thousands of attendees eager to explore technological innovations through demonstrations.
The event includes nine co-located shows covering various tech fields, such as AI Everything, GITEX Impact, and Future Blockchain Summit. In support of Dubai’s ambition to cultivate 30 unicorn start-ups by 2030, GITEX Editions will debut, showcasing firms like Axelera AI and InSilico Medicine, driving forward advancements in AI and quantum computing.
Cybersecurity will take centre stage, featuring expert panels and live demonstrations. Industry leaders like Michael Spranger from Sony AI and futurist Chris Duffey from Adobe will also share insights on AI’s future.
Expand North Star 2024, running from 13th to 16th October, will bring together over 2,000 start-ups, with a significant European presence. The event offers numerous investment opportunities, including panels with top investors like SpeedInvest and UK’s H Tree Capital. Volocopter, BitPanda, and Climeworks are among the featured unicorns, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a hub for tech innovation and global collaboration.
