Etihad Airways anticipates welcoming approximately five million passengers to Zayed International Airport during the peak summer season.
“We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our guests as they embark on their summer holidays, including those travelling to our newly introduced destinations such as Malaga, Antalya, Santorini, Nice, Jaipur, Al Qassim, Mykonos, and Bali,” remarked Shaeb Alnuaimi, Director of Airport Operations at Etihad.

Etihad Airways Gears Up for Busy Summer 2024
Travellers are advised to arrive at the airport well in advance due to expected high passenger volumes.
Etihad encourages the use of facilities such as home check-in, self-service bag drops, and biometric boarding to streamline airport procedures.
“For added convenience during the summer season, several offsite check-in and bag-drop facilities are available. Customers who use these facilities will receive 2,000 Etihad Guest Miles from June 10 to August 15,” the airline stated.

Passengers are advised to arrive four hours before non-US flights and two hours before US-bound services for check-in.
Advanced technology solutions, including bag drop machines, e-gates, and biometric boarding, are available to facilitate touchless travel.
For passengers requiring baggage delivery upon arrival, Etihad’s ‘Land & Leave’ service can deliver bags directly to destinations in Abu Dhabi within three hours.
