The UAE has declared its intention to allocate $10B for investment in promising economic sectors in Pakistan.
The announcement followed discussions held by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in Abu Dhabi aimed at bolstering the Pakistani economy, extending support, and fostering cooperation between the two nations.
During the meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, they deliberated on various facets of cooperation and collaboration between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.
The UAE and Pakistan explored avenues to further strengthen their longstanding ties, particularly in economic, commercial, and developmental realms, as well as in other areas aligned with both countries’ shared goals for sustainable economic development.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister praised the UAE’s journey of development and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fortifying its friendship with the United Arab Emirates and enhancing cooperation, notably in economic, commercial, and investment sectors.
