UAE’s EDGE Group has confirmed the purchase of a 52% controlling interest in ANAVIA, a Swiss firm known for its expertise in creating versatile vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) systems weighing up to 750 kilograms and their associated capabilities.
This acquisition solidifies EDGE’s position as a leading player in this highly specialized field. ANAVIA manufactures cutting-edge unmanned helicopters for various applications, including surveillance, reconnaissance, inspection, mapping, and cargo transport, and seamlessly integrates them with EDGE’s comprehensive portfolio of air, land, and maritime capabilities.
