Leading transportation company FedEx has unveiled its latest offering, the International Priority shipping service, aimed at facilitating exporters in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This service provides customers with faster delivery times, allowing shipments from the US to reach their destinations within 2-3 working days, while shipments from Europe will take only 2 days, and those from the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) region will arrive in 2-4 days.
Compared to previous transit times for major markets, this new service shaves off one day, providing businesses, including small and medium-sized enterprises, with a significant advantage in meeting the demands of global consumers more efficiently.
Taarek Hinedi, Vice President for the Middle East and Africa at FedEx Express, highlighted the service’s potential benefits for businesses in the region. With improved transit times, companies gain faster and more reliable access to major markets worldwide, enhancing their supply chains and reinforcing their competitive edge.
By offering a day-definite delivery service, FedEx’s International Priority shipping enables customers to ship urgent and time-sensitive items seamlessly. This new development is expected to boost market access and further solidify FedEx’s position as a leading logistics provider in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
