The Deloitte Professional Services (DIFC) Limited, one of the world’s top global accounting and auditing forms, has been admitted to the Dubai Courts’ expert list by the Experts Affairs committee.
Adding Deloitte Professional Services (DIFC) Limited to the expert list aligns with the objective of advancing Dubai’s judicial expertise system, fostering trust and credibility among litigants, and offering qualified legal and technical experts to assist judicial authorities. This decision is in accordance with the leadership’s directives to ensure a just and efficient judiciary while striving for the utmost excellence in the judicial sector.
“The inclusion of Deloitte Professional Services (DIFC) Limited in the expert list is a significant addition to the judicial expertise system in Dubai, representing one of the notable achievements in 2022,” said Judge Khalid Obaid Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Experts Affairs Committee at Dubai Courts. He said that guided by the directives and vision of the leadership, judicial work in the emirate is constantly being developed.
Under the expert list, reports prepared by the enlisted experts in Dubai Courts and those from government departments accounted for a remarkable 99.46 percent of the total expert assignments, contributing to an average completion time of 46 days for expert court reports. With customer satisfaction in Dubai Courts’ electronic services reaching an impressive rate of 97 percent, the inclusion of Deloitte Professional Services (DIFC) Limited further strengthens the judicial expertise system. Additionally, Al Mansouri highlighted that 80 percent of the experts listed in Dubai Courts’ expert list are Emiratis.
To enhance the skills of experts, Dubai Courts has implemented 14 training programs, including the Diploma in Judicial Expertise Management. Moreover, 24 judges from the judicial authority have successfully completed the Technical Diploma Programme for Judicial Authority Members in collaboration with the UAE Central Bank, the Society of Engineers, and the Emirates Association for Accountants and Auditors. These initiatives demonstrate the commitment of Dubai Courts to continuous improvement and excellence in the field of judicial expertise.
