On Thursday, approximately $500 million worth of real estate transactions took place in Dubai, as the city’s real estate market continues to be active as we approach the end of the year.
According to the data released by the Dubai Land Department, there were 468 sales transactions worth $379m (AED1.39bn), in addition to 84 mortgage deals of $71m (AED259.89m) and 65 gift deals amounting to $30m (AED109.6m) on Thursday.
More than $478 million worth of real estate was transacted on a single day, with 401 villas and apartments worth $280 million (AED1.03 billion) and 67 land plots worth $100 million (AED363.83 million) sold and 70 villas and apartments worth $53 million (AED196.01 million) and 14 land plots worth $17 million (AED63.88 million) mortgaged (AED1.8bn).
