More than 26,000 companies operating within Dubai’s DMCC business district could benefit from licence discounts, fee waivers and new incentives under a support package designed to reduce costs and support business growth.
The initiative aims to improve cash flow, strengthen resilience and help companies expand amid increasingly competitive global market conditions. Moreover, the package combines financial incentives, regulatory flexibility and administrative relief measures for both existing and new businesses.
At the core of the programme are incentives designed to encourage longer-term commitments from existing members. Companies renewing their licences can receive a 15% discount for two-year renewals, a 20% discount for three-year renewals and a 25% discount for five-year renewals.
Additionally, businesses seeking to expand operations can benefit from a 20% discount on additional licences.
Fee waivers and operational flexibility introduced
DMCC has also introduced measures to lower operating costs and ease administrative requirements. These include waiving penalties of up to AED5,000 for late licence renewals and AED1,000 for late Business Centre lease renewals.
Furthermore, the district is temporarily easing selected administrative procedures and introducing operational adjustments to provide greater flexibility for member companies.
As part of the package, non-Flexi Desk members can transition to Flexi Desk arrangements without paying security deposit fees or change-of-address charges.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, said: “Companies today are navigating a global business environment that is moving faster and becoming more competitive. Through this targeted acceleration package, DMCC is enabling our members to grow more efficiently and confidently by introducing greater flexibility in licence renewals, streamlining administrative processes, and unlocking a more effective use of existing resources.
“We are also creating clearer pathways for business expansion and new company formation, ultimately supporting our members scale more efficiently, strengthen their long-term resilience and continue pursuing new opportunities with ease in global markets.”
Incentives extended to new businesses
Alongside support for existing companies, DMCC has introduced incentives to attract new businesses to Dubai.
New companies can receive a 10% discount on one-year licence packages and a 20% discount on multi-year company set-ups. Meanwhile, businesses establishing operations within Premium Offices at Jewellery and Gemplex can access savings of more than 15% on one-year packages and more than 20% on multi-year commitments.
In addition, DMCC has enhanced its consultant incentive programme by increasing commission payments and expanding eligibility across successful company registrations completed during the offer period.
The initiative forms part of DMCC’s broader strategy to strengthen its value proposition, stimulate new business inflows and support organic growth. As a result, the package is expected to reinforce Dubai’s position as a leading global hub for trade, investment and entrepreneurship.
