Core42, a G42 company focused on sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure, has announced the completion of two structured trade finance facilities worth a combined USD550M with HSBC. The funding will support the rapid expansion of its AI cloud and compute infrastructure across the United States and Europe. The two facilities, valued at USD240M and USD310M, were finalised in February and May 2026, respectively.
The financing arrangements were specifically designed to align with Core42’s large-scale AI infrastructure deployment requirements and investment cycles. Structured as non-equity dilutive facilities, the funding provides greater strategic and financial flexibility while supporting the company’s disciplined capital management strategy as it strengthens its international presence. The facilities are also expected to speed up the rollout of large-scale computing capacity linked to long-term enterprise demand and AI-driven workloads.
Based in the UAE and operating across the United States and Europe, Core42 continues to expand its role as a sovereign AI infrastructure provider serving enterprises, governments, and hyperscale clients. The latest financing strengthens the company’s capital structure while complementing its partnerships with sovereign entities and hyperscalers, supporting long-term growth and infrastructure scalability.
Neha Gupta, Chief Financial Officer at Core42, described the facilities as a significant milestone for both the company and the wider AI infrastructure sector, reflecting rising institutional confidence in AI infrastructure as a long-term industrial asset class. She said HSBC’s support would help the company accelerate infrastructure deployment across the US and Europe while maintaining financial discipline and supporting sustainable long-term expansion. She added that growing enterprise and government reliance on mission-critical AI workloads is increasing the need for resilient and scalable cloud and compute platforms.
The development further strengthens Core42’s position as a global AI infrastructure operator capable of attracting international capital to support sustained multi-year demand. The company is also extending its sovereign AI ecosystem model into Europe, with its regional headquarters based in Dublin and infrastructure deployments progressing in Italy and France through collaborations with local governance partners across key markets.
