Dubai has rolled out a second economic relief package aimed at supporting businesses affected by the ongoing Iran conflict, as authorities seek to reduce financial strain on key sectors facing regional instability.
The new initiative includes reductions in government-related fees, exemptions on selected fines, and additional support measures for companies operating in tourism, aviation and trade. Officials said the package is intended to help businesses maintain stability and sustain operations during a challenging period.
The latest measures bring the total value of Dubai’s recent support initiatives to billions of dirhams, following an earlier package introduced to ease economic pressure caused by geopolitical tensions in the region.
Businesses across logistics, hospitality and retail have been dealing with disruptions linked to the conflict, including higher operating costs, supply chain challenges and fluctuating demand. Concerns surrounding shipping routes and regional security have also added pressure to commercial activity.
Authorities and free zone operators are additionally offering more flexible payment options, delayed penalties and administrative fee relief to help companies better manage cash flow and operational expenses.
