Dubai International Chamber announced its key achievements for 2025, highlighting its central role in driving foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows and strengthening the emirate’s competitiveness as a global trade and investment hub. The chamber attracted 373 companies to Dubai during the year, an increase of 80.2 percent from 207 companies in 2024. This total included 64 multinational corporations (MNCs), up 25.5 percent from 51, and 309 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), nearly doubling from 156 in 2024.
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai International Chamber, said, “Dubai continues to reinforce its position as a global destination for foreign direct investment and an ideal environment for businesses to grow and expand internationally. Dubai International Chamber remains committed to playing a pivotal role in advancing the emirate’s position as a key hub within the global economy.” He added that the chamber’s international representative offices are instrumental in supporting Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) targets by connecting companies to global opportunities and fostering sustainable economic partnerships.
Global outreach and international engagement
In 2025, the chamber participated in and organised 235 international promotional roadshows across 190 cities to showcase Dubai’s competitive advantages. Additionally, it received 141 international trade delegations comprising 673 participants from diverse sectors, strengthening global cooperation and unlocking high-quality opportunities for Dubai-based businesses.
The chamber continued expanding its international network under the ‘Dubai Global’ initiative, which targets 50 representative offices worldwide by 2030 to attract FDI and support the global expansion of Dubai-based companies. In 2025, nine new offices were inaugurated, including first-time locations in New York (USA), Warsaw (Poland), and Stockholm (Sweden), as well as new offices in Karachi, Dhaka, Cape Town, Bengaluru, Bangkok, and Toronto.
Promoting Dubai as a global business destination
Throughout the year, the chamber’s international offices organised 505 roundtable discussions to promote Dubai as a global business hub. These initiatives were designed to attract investment, highlight the emirate’s strategic role in international trade, and reinforce Dubai’s position as a platform for companies seeking global expansion.
Collectively, these achievements underscore the chamber’s sustained impact on enhancing Dubai’s FDI profile, supporting international partnerships, and reinforcing the emirate’s standing as a leading global business centre.
