His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has accepted an invitation from the United States to join the Board of Peace. The announcement was made by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Sheikh Abdullah highlighted that the UAE’s decision underscores the importance of fully implementing President Donald J. Trump’s 20-point peace plan for Gaza, which is seen as vital for advancing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. He also reaffirmed the UAE’s confidence in President Trump’s leadership and his commitment to global peace, as demonstrated by the historic Abraham Accords.
Commitment to Stability and Cooperation
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah further noted that the UAE stands ready to contribute actively to the Board of Peace’s mission. This involvement aims to support broader regional stability, promote cooperation, and enhance prosperity for all stakeholders.
