The UAE’s non-oil foreign trade totalled AED1.73 trillion (equivalent to $470.3 billion) in the first six months of 2025, based on initial figures released by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre.
This marks a 2.6 percent rise over the corresponding period in 2024 and a significant 27.5 percent growth when compared to the first half of 2021.
Non-oil exports reached AED205 billion in the first half of 2025, reflecting a 14.4 percent boost year-on-year and a 50.6 percent surge relative to the first half of 2021.
Re-export activity rose by 9.9 percent from H1 2024, amounting to AED341 billion during the first six months of 2025.
Imports totalled approximately AED882 billion in the first half of 2025, showing a 0.9 percent increase from AED875 billion recorded in the same period last year.
