The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) held AED426.03 B in total foreign assets at the end of last October, up from AED424.3 B in September 2022, a monthly rise of 0.41%, or AED1.73 B.
According to the Central Bank’s most recent figures, the AED241.14 B in September 2022 was replaced by AED246.42 B at the end of last October, thanks to a 2.2% increase in bank deposits and balances overseas.
The Central Bank’s foreign assets were AED121.49 B in foreign securities at the end of last October, a rise of roughly 1.44% on a monthly basis from AED119.76 B in September 2022.
According to CBUAE statistics, other foreign assets were AED58.12 B at the end of last October, up 22.7% annually but down 8.3% on a monthly basis compared to AED47.36 B in October 2021.
