A yellow alert has been announced by the weather department from 4am to 8:30am this morning, due to the potential for fog formation and a subsequent decrease in horizontal visibility in certain areas.
Abu Dhabi Police have urged motorists to drive carefully and comply with the variable speed limits displayed on electronic boards. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has reported that the weather will be fair to partly cloudy and occasionally hazy. Temperature predictions indicate a range of 29℃ to 43℃ in Abu Dhabi and 30℃ to 42℃ in Dubai. Morning will bring low clouds over the East Coast, and some convective clouds may develop towards the east by the afternoon.
The forecast also indicates humid conditions at night and into Tuesday morning, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist forming in some coastal regions.
Additionally, light to moderate winds are expected, occasionally freshening. The Arabian Gulf will experience slight seas, with the Oman Sea expected to be slight to moderate by Tuesday morning.
