Forecasts indicate a potential rise in temperatures up to 50°C in parts of the UAE, with cloudy and dusty conditions prevailing.
The UAE is set for a sweltering day as temperatures in some areas may reach a scorching 50°C, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The weather is expected to be generally cloudy, with dusty conditions likely.
High Temperatures in Abu Dhabi
Two areas in Abu Dhabi, Mezaira and Gasyoura, are anticipated to see temperatures touching the 50-degree mark. Meanwhile, Dubai is expected to experience a maximum temperature of 41°C.
Cloudy and Dusty Conditions
The NCM forecast also mentions the possibility of cumulus clouds covering the eastern regions. Winds will be light to moderate but may become brisk at times, causing dust to stir up. Despite the high temperatures, the waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are predicted to remain light.
As always, residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours.
