The National Centre of Meteorology released a forecast pinpointing Tuesday and Wednesday as the days most likely to experience rainfall in the UAE this week.
Towards the end of the week, the NCM predicts moderate winds and a possibility of blowing dust and sand in the UAE.

Tuesday, 14th May: Weather expected to be fair to partly cloudy intermittently, with a chance of convective cloud formation in the east by afternoon, potentially leading to rainfall. Winds expected to be light to moderate from the southeast to northeast, occasionally strengthening and causing blowing dust, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25kmph, reaching 35kmph.
Wednesday, 15th May: Weather anticipated to be fair to partly cloudy intermittently, with a chance of convective cloud formation in the east by afternoon, potentially leading to rainfall. Winds expected to be light to moderate from the southeast to northeast, occasionally strengthening and causing blowing dust, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25kmph, reaching 35kmph. The sea is expected to be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
Thursday, 16th May: Weather forecasted to be fair to partly cloudy, with low clouds appearing over the eastern coast in the morning, and a chance of convective cloud formation over mountains by afternoon. Winds expected to be light to moderate from the southeast to northeast, occasionally strengthening and causing blowing dust, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25kmph, reaching 35kmph.
Friday, 17th May: Weather forecasted to be fair to partly cloudy intermittently, with a chance of convective cloud formation in the east. Winds expected to be light to moderate from the southeast, becoming northwesterly, occasionally strengthening and causing blowing dust and sand, with speeds ranging from 15 to 25kmph, reaching 40kmph.
