The United Arab Emirates has claimed first place regionally and ninth worldwide in the IMD World Talent Ranking 2025, outperforming several advanced economies in talent competitiveness.
The annual study, conducted by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland, assessed 69 countries. The UAE emerged as a leader in critical indicators, securing the top global position for international experience among senior managers, labour force growth, low personal income tax collection, and international student mobility.
Outperforming Global Peers
In talent competitiveness, the UAE surpassed advanced nations including Norway, Germany, Finland, Canada, and Austria. This milestone highlights the country’s ability to position itself as a global hub for both skilled professionals and future leaders.
