Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has enacted a Federal Decree appointing Abdulaziz Mohammed Faraj Al Mulla as Director General of the Federal Tax Authority, granting him the rank of Ministry Undersecretary.
Al Mulla brings over two decades of expertise spanning financial management, investment strategy and economic governance.
His previous roles include serving as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Investment Fund, as well as Executive Director of the Dubai Financial Support Fund.
He also led efforts to coordinate tax-related matters across the Government of Dubai and is widely regarded for his proficiency in taxation, business expansion, public policy and long-term financial strategy.
Al Mulla is an alumnus of the Mohammed bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development and holds an Executive MBA from Georgetown University, in addition to advanced qualifications in Law, Big Data and Business Analytics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
