Abu Dhabi has announced housing benefits worth AED 6.75B to support 4,356 citizens across the emirate, coinciding with the Eid Al Fitr celebrations.
As the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, President Sheikh Mohamed, along with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has approved the disbursement of the first housing package for 2025.
The approved package includes housing loans totalling AED 5.08B for 3,172 citizens, as well as land grants and ready-built homes valued at AED 1.585B for 1,100 citizens. Additionally, housing loan repayment exemptions exceeding AED 94.8M will benefit 84 senior citizens, low-income retirees, and dependents of deceased citizens.
With this latest package, Abu Dhabi has now delivered over 123,000 housing benefits to its citizens since establishing the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, amounting to approximately AED 168.85B.
“This new housing benefits package reflects our leadership’s continuous commitment to ensuring a dignified standard of living and family stability for Emirati citizens. It reaffirms that the welfare of Emirati families remains a top priority. The package aligns with broader development goals and the Year of Community initiative, which fosters social cohesion and highlights the importance of adequate housing in building a stable and prosperous society,” said Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.
