The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) announced that Dh794.5 million will be distributed to pensioners and beneficiaries on July 26, 2024. This distribution will benefit 48,199 individuals, reflecting an increase from the previous year.
The total amount of Dh794,520,346.03 in pension payments will be allocated on Friday, marking a rise compared to July 2023, when Dh711,323,785.25 was distributed to 46,835 recipients. This year, there are 1,364 more pensioners and beneficiaries, resulting in an additional Dh83,196,561 in payments.
These disbursements are made under Federal Law No. (7) of 1999 for Pension and Social Security and include individuals whose files are managed by the GPSSA on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, in accordance with the applicable pension laws.
