The UAE has extended its visa-on-arrival scheme for Indian nationals, now covering those with valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from six additional countries.
Effective from 13 February 2025, Indian citizens with ordinary passports and valid travel documents from these newly included nations will be eligible for visas upon arrival at all UAE entry points.
The newly added countries are:
•Singapore
•Japan
•South Korea
•Australia
•New Zealand
•Canada
These join the previously eligible regions, which include the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security announced the update, emphasising the strong ties between the UAE and India.
This move seeks to enhance tourism, attract skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and top talent, reinforcing the UAE’s status as a key global destination.
A passport validity of at least six months and payment of the required fees are mandatory as per existing regulations.
