The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) predicts a mix of sunshine and clouds across the UAE on Friday, June 21st. However, residents should be prepared for dusty conditions, especially in eastern areas, due to light to moderate winds that may pick up throughout the day.
While the skies may offer some respite, temperatures are expected to soar. Inland areas will experience the brunt of the heat, with highs reaching a scorching 49°C. Humidity will also be a factor, with the humidity index predicted to hit 90%.
Coastal areas will fare slightly better, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 47°C. However, these areas can expect higher humidity at night and Saturday morning, along with a chance of mist formation.
For city-specific details, Abu Dhabi residents can expect temperatures to reach 46°C, while Dubai will hit a sweltering 49°C.
Sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will be calm, with slight waves.
