A fund of AED 5 million has been announced to support content creators specializing in family and social themes. The initiative was unveiled as part of the ongoing 1 Billion Followers Summit and will be launched by Creators HQ in partnership with Alfan.
The announcement aligns with 2026 being designated the “Year of Family” by the UAE Government. Moreover, the theme emphasises the importance of family cohesion and strong relationships, recognising families as the foundation of a prosperous society.
Scope of the fund
The fund will provide support across multiple areas, including:
- Education and training for creators
- Advanced filming equipment
- State-of-the-art production facilities
- Social media platform support and brand partnership opportunities
Encouraging creators in the UAE
By offering these resources, the initiative aims to attract creative talent to the UAE and encourage content creators to relocate to the country. As a result, it seeks to strengthen the country’s position as a hub for digital innovation and the creative economy, while supporting the production of high-quality, socially impactful content.
