H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Sweden’s Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Benjamin Dousa, in Stockholm. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in trade, investment, and economic collaboration.
Expanding Bilateral Cooperation
Both sides explored ways to strengthen their partnership and leverage economic opportunities that serve mutual interests. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the UAE’s commitment to deepening ties with Sweden, fostering economic growth, and supporting shared aspirations for prosperity.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Dousa witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Swedish Trade and Investment Council. The agreement aims to enhance business and investment opportunities between the two nations.
The MoU was signed by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, and Maha Bouzeid, Vice President of the Swedish Trade and Investment Council.
