Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) and Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) have jointly spearheaded new energy infrastructure initiatives aligned with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031 and the Net Zero by 2050 vision.

The Abu Dhabi Petroleum Products Trading Regulatory Committee (TRC) convened its first meeting of 2025 under the chairmanship of Dr. Saif Saeed Al Qubaisi, Acting Director-General of Regulatory Affairs at the Department of Energy. The session brought together representatives from 21 federal and local government authorities.

EHC Investment, through its energy arm Emirates International Gas (EIG), has fully acquired Al Fanar Gas Group, Abu Dhabi’s largest gas distributor and a leading service provider in the UAE.

NMDC Energy has announced robust financial results in its first full-year earnings since going public in September 2024. The company’s net profit surged 80 per cent year-on-year to AED 1.41B (USD 380M), up from AED 780M (USD 212.4M), driven by strong operations and strategic expansions.
