Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company – Masdar, the UAE’s leader in clean energy, has announced the successful raising of $1B through its second green bond issuance under its Green Finance Framework.

Arada Developments LLC (“Arada”), with a B1 rating from Moody’s and B+ from Fitch, has successfully concluded its second public financing arrangement, a $400M Sukuk, listed on the London Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Dubai. This marks the first issuance under Arada’s new $1B Sukuk programme.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has successfully raised $500M by issuing Sharia-compliant green bonds, marking the largest Islamic bank by assets in the emirate’s effort to diversify its funding sources, promote sustainability, and address climate change concerns.
ADIB priced the senior sukuk with a five-year tenure at a profit rate of 5.695% per annum, payable semi-annually. The sukuk will be listed and traded on the London Stock Exchange’s International Securities Market and Sustainable Bond Market, according to the statement from the Abu Dhabi-based lender.

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia has revealed pricing details for its first-ever dollar-denominated sukuk issuance, amounting to $3.5B. This sukuk offering, split into two tranches, is set to be listed on the London Stock Exchange’s International Securities Market (ISM). It garnered remarkable investor interest, with orders significantly surpassing the issuance amount, underscoring the strong confidence in PIF’s financial position.
