Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong issued a public apology on Wednesday, May 22, following a tragic incident where severe turbulence on its flight from London to Singapore resulted in one passenger’s death and injuries to over 70 others.

In October, Emirates will resume flights to Nigeria after nearly two years of suspension, during which the airline engaged in discussions with government authorities to repatriate withheld ticket sales revenue from the country.

Emirates has affirmed its dedication to the Republic of Korea, announcing an enhancement in its operations in Seoul with the introduction of three extra weekly flights from 19th February 2024.
