His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, presided over a special ceremony at Za’abeel Palace, where nine new judges were sworn in for the Dubai Rental Dispute Settlement Centre. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi.
During the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the vital role of the Centre in ensuring smooth operations, upholding the rule of law, and safeguarding people’s rights. He expressed his confidence in the new judges and wished them success in their new roles.
The newly appointed judges, including Dr. Omar Tariq Salem Al Suwaidi, Dr. Rashid Mohammed Saeed Al Yamahi, and Dr. Abdulrahman Jumaa Mohammed Sharaf, expressed gratitude for Sheikh Mohammed’s trust and pledged to uphold the law, ensuring prompt and fair delivery of justice.
Other distinguished judges taking the oath included Dr. Yousef Yacoub Yousef Al Mansouri, Dr. Ali Obaid Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Sultan Butti bin Mejren Al Marri, Walid Zaki Abul Hasan Abdul Jalil, Amr Al Sayed Zaki Salem, and Sharif Mohammed Musaad Abdul Jawad.
The ceremony reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to a strong judicial system, underlining the importance of resolving rental disputes efficiently and transparently. The Centre plays a crucial role in maintaining stability and fairness in the real estate sector, reinforcing the UAE’s position as a hub for investment and business.
