Sobha Realty, a prominent developer of high-end residential properties in the region, has revealed plans to launch its newest real estate project on Al Siniya Island in Umm Al Quwain.
The announcement was made through a partnership agreement between Sobha Realty and Umm Al Quwain Properties, with Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, attending the signing ceremony earlier this week.
“We are delighted to introduce our latest venture, Sobha Siniya Island, which is set to provide residents with a unique lifestyle amidst the natural splendour of Umm Al Quwain,” said Ravi Menon, Co-chairman of Sobha Group.
“The project will merge luxurious living with the serene environment of the island, surrounded by the tranquil blue waters of the Arabian Gulf and lush, unpolluted landscapes. Siniya Island offers an exceptional chance for residents to enjoy a lavish lifestyle with modern amenities and efficient solutions,” he added.
Situated just minutes from Al Marjan Island, the project will ensure easy access via a motorable causeway bridge. It will also be accessible through marine travel along the Arabian Gulf coast.
Luxury Living Emphasised
The Al Siniya Island development aims to provide residents with an ultra-luxury living experience amidst nature and eco-friendly amenities.
Encircled by Umm Al Quwain’s natural mangroves, the project will include a variety of amenities, such as a family golf course, floating pavilion, event halls, and a helix bridge.
Families can anticipate an eco-friendly park and play area, access to picturesque man-made and natural beaches, and leisurely walks around a mangrove and tidal trail. The development will also feature private waterfront neighbourhoods, serene community living, and designated areas for both non-motorised and motorised watercraft.
Focus on Biodiversity and Historical Preservation
As the oldest pearl town in the Gulf, the project will prioritise the protection of natural wildlife and archaeological sites.
This aligns with the Umm Al Quwain government’s ongoing commitment to promoting sustainable development while preserving natural heritage.
The island is home to diverse flora and fauna, dense mangroves, and healthy wildlife and marine life. It features mudflats, salt marshes, and natural rock formations, alongside archaeological sites such as a sixth-century monastery and stone circles.
“This project exemplifies Sobha Realty’s dedication to innovation, sustainability, and luxury,” stated PNC Menon, Chairman and Founder of Sobha Group.
“We are privileged to partner with the Umm Al Quwain government on this landmark project, which will establish a new standard in the luxury real estate market while offering a unique and tranquil lifestyle for its residents.”
The Sobha Siniya Island project is anticipated to be completed in stages over the next few years, with the first phase scheduled for delivery by 2025. The project’s cost, number of residential units, and further details have not yet been disclosed.
