His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, inspected the operational readiness of military units during a visit to Al Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi.
During the tour, officials briefed him on the command and control systems in operation, along with the technical and logistical support frameworks that showcase the Air Force’s advanced capabilities.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the officers for their outstanding dedication and commitment to developing a strong national defence infrastructure.
He also commended the progress made by Emirati personnel in mastering state-of-the-art military technologies, noting their importance in ensuring battlefield superiority and the ability to respond swiftly to any threat.
Sheikh Hamdan stressed that safeguarding the UAE’s security is a collective duty, requiring continuous vigilance and preparedness.
The visit further included a stop at the Air Warfare Centre, where he received a comprehensive briefing on the centre’s objectives and its contribution to enhancing missile defence systems.
