The local Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Team in Sharjah has announced the reopening of all roads previously closed due to heavy rainfall in the city.
With accessibility restored, authorities have dismantled the relief tent near King Faisal Mosque, indicating a return to normalcy.
However, official donation channels remain open through government-designated outlets.
The Team commended the swift response of institutions and individuals who donated at the tent to aid those affected.
In response to recent extreme weather, Major General Saif Zari Al Shamsi, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, has instructed the cancellation of all traffic violations incurred during the adverse weather period.
This decision acknowledges the extraordinary circumstances following the unprecedented rainfall, the heaviest recorded in the past 75 years, which occurred last Tuesday.
