The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), through its Sharjah Exports Development Centre (SEDC), has concluded its trade mission to India, marked by a series of strategic business meetings and discussions with prominent economic authorities in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
These engagements were held alongside the Business Forum hosted by the Sharjah Chamber in Ahmedabad, which served as the second leg of the delegation’s visit.
The forum focused on identifying key areas to bolster economic ties and foster stronger industrial and investment cooperation between the private sectors of the UAE and India.
Prominent attendees included Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI; Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir, Second Vice Chairman; and Jamal Mohamed Sultan Binhuwaidin, SCCI Board Member, in addition to various representatives from the Chamber.
The event also drew significant participation from industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and private sector players from both Sharjah and Ahmedabad—an industrial powerhouse within India.
The programme featured dedicated B2B meetings and comprehensive presentations showcasing investment prospects across multiple economic domains in both cities.
The discussions highlighted Sharjah’s investor-friendly climate, world-class infrastructure, and range of incentives. The Chamber also outlined its extensive support services designed to empower entrepreneurs and facilitate their international growth ambitions.
