The Saudi foreign ministry has reinforced its previous warnings, advising nationals to avoid travel to Lebanon. In a statement shared via the official X account of the Saudi Embassy in Lebanon, the embassy emphasized, “The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is closely following the developments of events in southern Lebanon, and the embassy renews its call on Saudi citizens to leave Lebanese territory immediately in compliance with the decision to ban travel to Lebanon.”
The situation at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport has become increasingly chaotic. Travelers have been met with long queues as many scramble to exit the country, with several choosing to cut their summer vacations short. Airlines have reacted by canceling flights due to the rising risk of conflict between Hezbollah and Israeli forces.
