Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has inaugurated the second bridge as part of Phase 4 of the Al Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project. This two-lane bridge, spanning 605 metres, connects Al Mina Street with Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street and Sheikh Rashid Road, enhancing traffic flow with a capacity of 3,200 vehicles per hour.

The Al Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project, one of the largest infrastructure initiatives in Dubai, spans 13km and serves major areas, including Deira and Bur Dubai.

- Four bridges spanning 3.1km with a total capacity of 19,400 vehicles per hour.
- Two pedestrian bridges on Sheikh Rashid Road and Al Mina Street.
- Enhanced roads and intersections across Jumeirah Street, Al Mina Street, and Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Street.
Additional Bridges Timeline:
- December 2024: First bridge (1.335km, 4,800 vehicles/hour) opened.
- Q2 2025: Two bridges, including one on Al Mina Street and another connecting Al Mina to Al Wasl Road.
- Q3 2025: Fourth bridge (985m, 3,200 vehicles/hour) facilitating traffic from Jumeirah Street.
