Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in partnership with digital freight platform TruKKer, has introduced “Logisty,” a Digital Logistics Platform developed alongside the private sector. The platform provides commercial transport services, manages logistics and vehicle fleets, and offers on-demand booking and tracking.
The launch is set to enhance Dubai’s status as a leading logistics hub. Logisty connects customers with transport providers, streamlining the experience with efficient and reliable services. Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General of the RTA, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and supports the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), aimed at positioning Dubai among the top global economic cities.
The platform also supports the Dubai Commercial Road Transport and Logistics Strategy 2030, aiming to double the sector’s contribution to Dubai’s economy and improve efficiency. Logisty integrates advanced technologies, such as an AI-powered CBM Calculator, to simplify operations. With over 10,000 commercial transport companies and 351,000 registered vehicles, Dubai’s logistics sector has seen a 34% annual growth rate.
In 2023, the transport and storage sector contributed AED 31.4B to Dubai’s GDP. Logisty’s official launch in December 2024 will provide seamless, reliable services, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a key logistics hub in the region.
