If you’re planning to drive around Dubai to explore the Eid al-Adha festivities, you can do so without worrying about parking fees.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially announced that motorists across the city will not be required to pay for parking during the Eid weekend.
From Saturday, 10 August to Tuesday, 13 August, all paid parking zones will be free of charge, with the exception of multi-level parking terminals. Standard parking fees will resume for all drivers on Wednesday, 14 August.
There’s a plethora of events happening throughout the city. For a grand spectacle, head to Dubai Festival City to witness the impressive Eid fireworks display on Sunday, 11 August and Monday, 12 August.
Additionally, shopping centres across Dubai, including The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and City Centre Deira, are extending their operating hours for Eid. Reel Cinemas at The Dubai Mall will also be open 24 hours a day during the Eid period.
