The extended Eid Al Fitr weekend has officially commenced for many residents across the UAE. If you’re planning to travel by bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, be aware of route alterations.
On Saturday, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) informed passengers about modifications to intercity bus routes. These changes will be effective from today, April 6, until April 14.
E100: Instead of departing from Al Ghubaiba Station, it will now start its journey from Ibn Battuta Bus Station, travelling towards Abu Dhabi.
E102: This bus service will operate from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Al Mussafah Shabia Station in Abu Dhabi.
Additional adjustments might be implemented to the operating hours of other RTA buses. Passengers are advised to consult the S’hail app for updates.
Information regarding the timings of marine transportation, such as water taxi, Dubai Ferry, and abra, can be accessed through the RTA app, according to Khaleej Times.
For those using the Dubai Metro or Tram, services will run until 1am throughout the holiday period. Refer to this link for detailed schedules.
