According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), Saturday’s weather is expected to be generally fair with some areas experiencing partly cloudy conditions. There’s a potential for cumulus clouds to develop over certain southern regions, leading to the possibility of rainfall overnight into Sunday morning. This is more likely in inland and coastal areas, particularly in the west.
The NCM statement also mentioned anticipated winds blowing from the south-east to the north-east at speeds of 10 to 25 kmph, possibly reaching up to 40 kmph.
In the Arabian Gulf, wave conditions are forecasted to be gentle, with the first tide expected at 9 am and the second at 2.23 am. Low tides are projected for 4.15 pm and 4.45 am, respectively.
Similarly, in the Sea of Oman, waves are predicted to be light, with the first tide at 6.40 pm and the second at 7.29 am. Low tides are expected around 12.08 pm and 1.21 am, respectively.
