The UAE has released information regarding the petrol prices in UAE for May 2023, revealing that the rates for Super 95, Super 98, and E-Plus will go up, while diesel prices will decrease. Presently, filling up a tank of petrol in the UAE is at its highest cost of the year, although diesel prices are lower than they have been in 2023.
The announcement of these price changes was made through Emarat’s Twitter account. Due to the impact of the global energy market on pump prices, the rates have been fluctuating throughout the year. In regards to petrol and diesel prices in the UAE, there was a decrease in rates during January and February of this year, in comparison to November and December 2022. Subsequently, prices rose again in March, only to drop once more in April.
From May 1 the cost of filling up vehicles in the UAE will be:
Special 95 – AED3.05 litre from AED2.90 in April
Super 98 – AED3.16 a litre from AED3.01 in April
E-Plus – AED2.97 a litre from AED2.82 in April
Diesel – AED2.91 a litre from AED3.03 in April
