The Jaddaf Waterfront’s Palazzo Versace Dubai, an ultra-luxury establishment, has teamed up with cryptocurrency infrastructure company Binance to accept cryptocurrency payments for eating, lodging, and spa services.
Payments can be made by guests using a variety of cryptocurrencies, including BNB, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. The Binance payment gateway will be used to conduct these transactions.
All visitors will have the option to pay at the hotel using the Binance app beginning on September 7 for in-room stays, dining, meetings, and activities. Integration of online payments will take place in the upcoming phase. On its online store, which sells gift cards and flowers, Palazzo Versace Dubai will also accept cryptocurrency purchases.
Monther Darwish, the managing director of the Palazzo Versace Dubai and the company’s creator, declared: “We continue to be the forerunners of innovation and expansion in the hospitality industry. Another creative move we’ve made to prepare our company for the future is to accept bitcoins as payment.
The Palazzo Versace’s capacity to now take payments in virtual assets is a reflection of how the hospitality business in Dubai is at the forefront of innovation as we go into a more digital world, according to Nadeem Ladki, Head of Business Development for Binance in Mena. The start of our cooperation is with payments, and we look forward to expanding it together.
