Since the beginning of 2022, non-Arab foreigners have made net investments in UAE-based stocks totaling about AED30 billion ($8.2 billion). The volume of investments is the outcome of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to attract foreign investors, underpinned by the resilient performance of listed companies in line with the Principles of the 50 and UAE Centennial 2071 objectives.
According to information obtained by the Emirates News Agency (WAM) from the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and Dubai Financial Market (DFM), non-Arab investors purchased AED137,103,149,000 worth of local shares in 2022, while they sold AED107,817,140,000 worth of shares, for a net investment value of AED29.3 billion.
