NEOM has chosen AECOM as the management partner for its international airport located in the northwestern region of Saudi Arabia. AECOM will provide project management consultancy services for NEOM International Airport (NIA) including master-planning, design, construction, testing, commissioning, operational readiness, activation, and transition. The contract is set to run for several years.

This week, Dubai-based airline flydubai began flights to the Saudi Arabian mega-project. “As Saudi Arabia continues on its path of economic growth and investment in developing its tourism sector, we look forward to offering passengers from the UAE and around our network the opportunity to explore more of the country,” flydubai chief commercial officer Hamad Obaidalla said.
