Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded Al Nasr Contracting Company an AED169 million (USD 46 million) contract for internal roadworks and key utilities to support Bay Villas at Dubai Islands.
The agreement includes developing access roads across the 636-unit residential community and installing utility networks to link homes, public spaces, and the wider island infrastructure.
This project marks an important milestone in the delivery of the new neighbourhood, reflecting Nakheel’s phased strategy of aligning preparatory works with infrastructure rollout to ensure sustainable, long-term results.

This contract follows Nakheel’s earlier AED2.6 billion (USD 708 million) agreement with Fibrex Contracting for major development works at Dubai Islands.
Bay Villas will comprise a diverse mix of townhouses, semi-detached villas, garden villas, and premium waterfront and beachfront residences, all within a resort-style, well-connected environment.
