The E-Commerce Acceleration Programme, a training program that focuses on assisting entrepreneurs with their e-commerce competencies and capability, has been formally announced as having begun by Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development.
The program aims to assist in producing tangible outcomes that have an influence on the business owner’s bottom line, produce profit, increase brand awareness, and boost customer engagement. On September 21, 22, 28, 29, and October 4, a five-day training will be held. The opportunity to demonstrate their e-commerce skills gives the participating entrepreneurs the potential to be invited to attend additional program training.
According to Alia Al Mazrouei, CEO of Khalifa Fund for Business Growth, the program offers entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to get knowledge and resources from industry experts in the field of e-commerce. With the development of digital technologies and their integration into the retail market, there have been significant changes in the retail sector recently. She continued, “It is now crucial for business owners to understand how to apply e-commerce principles to their organizations. In contrast to former times, when it was just for a select few of innovative enterprises, understanding digital is now a requirement for entering the market. As the leading business developer in the UAE, we, therefore, regard it as our obligation and duty to provide our entrepreneurs with digital resources and business insights through programs like these.
Entrepreneurs must achieve tough requirements in order to be accepted for the first edition of the E-Commerce Acceleration Program. Applicants must satisfy a set of requirements, which may include, but are not limited to, business size, product kinds sold, prior e-commerce experience, and general business acumen.
The e-Empower program was first introduced in September 2020 with the goal of assisting Abu Dhabi business owners as they fully digitalize their enterprises and enhance their general capacity to prosper in the digital economy. Since its debut, e-Empower has collaborated with Microsoft, noon, and noon payments in addition to Amazon, Amazon Web Services, Akshaak, eBay, Etisalat, etc. Khalifa Fund applicants will receive a range of enterprise resource planning, human resource management, customer relations management, accounting software, and small business solutions from Abacus, the official Sage provider in the MENA region, as part of the e-Empower partnership.
The deadline for submission of applications is September 14th. Before the program begins on September 21st, applicants will be notified of the status of their applications on September 15th. If they are successful, they must pay a one-time fee of AED350.
