Jubail Island Investment Company (JIIC) has announced the awarding of a significant construction contract valued at nearly AED 400 million ($108 million) to Bright Accord General Contracting Company for the upcoming Jubail Town Centre located in Souk Al Jubail.
The ambitious project encompasses the development of four office buildings along with two residential structures—Jubail Terraces buildings 7 and 8. Construction is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2024, with an anticipated completion date in the third quarter of 2026.
Strategically situated in Souk Al Jubail village, the Jubail Town Centre is designed to be a vibrant lifestyle destination, integrating well-being, connectivity, leisure, retail, and commercial services. It will provide direct access to the E12 Highway and will feature a variety of amenities, including commercial spaces, residential buildings, green areas, walkways, and seating zones.
The Town Centre will offer a range of facilities, including outdoor parks, a mosque, a medical clinic, a nursery, a supermarket, fitness centers, retail shops, food and beverage pavilions, offices, wellness hubs, and a community center.
Jubail Terraces will provide apartments in different sizes, from studios to three-bedroom units and duplexes, along with a Spinneys supermarket and the Redwood Center of Excellence nursery.
“JIIC is committed to delivering high-quality developments that enhance the lives of residents and visitors to Jubail Island,” said Engineer Abdulla Saeed Al Shamsi, Corporate Director of JIIC. He further remarked, “Jubail Town Centre is a testament to our vision of creating a dynamic community that harmonizes with the natural beauty of Jubail Island. We are thrilled to embark on this project with Bright Accord General Contracting Company and look forward to the successful completion of this exciting project.”
Upon its completion, Jubail Island will offer community centers, mosques, a medical clinic, educational institutions, a supermarket, a beach club, a 65-berth marina, yacht clubs, gyms, walking and cycling paths, community pools, play areas, and a vast expanse of 1.4 million square meters dedicated to parks and open spaces.
Owned by JIIC and developed by LEAD Real Estate Developer, Jubail Island will consist of six residential villages nestled within mangroves, aiming to seamlessly integrate sustainable living, luxury, and wellness within Abu Dhabi’s real estate sector.
